Our pool is an essential part of the facilities at BALMORAL APARTMENTS and very popular with the children. In the tropical temperatures the Gambia offers, there can be nothing more enjoyable than to cool of with a dip in the pool.

A shallow children's section is included, and parental supervision is required. Sun loungers around the pool provide the means to get that perfect tan.

The apartments are finished to a high standard, combining local craftsmanship and materials to provide a range of natural textures.

The bed linen is typical of African Tie-dyed designs and patterns and can be purchased at the local markets.

Most of the furniture is hand made by local carpenters from real timber. There are three types of apartment available, SINGLE BEDROOM (standard or superior), and DOUBLE BEDROOM. In total there are 12 apartments available.

Downtown SENEGAMBIA has everything you’ll need to make your holiday a memorable one. There are a variety of places to eat, from the LA PARISIAN’S delicious pizza take-away to the top-notch SCALA restaurant, and you’ll be surprised at how little eating out costs.

With at least 3 cyber cafes available in SENEGAMBIA, you’ll be able to keep in touch. Currency exchange is easily available, and you can buy anything from local crafts to the latest fashions. Normal supplies can be purchased at the local supermarkets.

The beach at Kololi is only a few minutes walk away. These views include Sang-Yang beach which is a bit further away but well worth a visit, and is usually included as a great lunch stop when you take the local safari trips. The Atlantic rollers are ideal for body boarding, children or adult equipment hire is available on the beach.

Beach vendors supply fresh fruit and drinks, and you can buy almost anything from jewellery to wood carvings or large print towels on the beach. Local Fishermen will arrange a fishing trip on request.
